Complex Manufacturing and Materials Handling Simulation

We conducted an extensive simulation study of a complex manufacturing and materials handling system. The goal of the project was to examine the system's throughput and production scheduling in light of a $10 Million capital investment. The model was successfully used to evaluate the materials handling system to ensure that its capacity would not bottleneck the system and constrain overall production.
